But on a more serious note, how do Japanese feel towards certain nationalities, for example, Chinese or Americans (since it's basically geographically stuck between two superpowers)? And are they racist at all?

1. Nope, just very slightly smaller than average.
2. At least one foreigner.
3. Frankly, I don't know.
4. At least one of them does.

Do Japanese know where Finland is located? Or do they know ANYTHING about Finland, if you ask them for example randomly on the street?

Well I dont really tend to randomly ask people on the street.
Some people know Finland is near Sweden, some know it is Europe, some think its the same as the Philippines and some don't have a clue what your talking about.
Most Japanese think its very cold here all the time, and that we can always see the northen lights.
Most of them also knows that Santa Claus lives in Finland.
I suppose you have to be proud of something...

For those too shy to create whole topics for silly questions, this is for you. Here you can ask, for example, are all Japanese really that small? Do they really find all foreigners cool and amazing? Does melon bread really have any sort of melon in it? How many of them really think Greenland is next to Australia?
